Server logs

Our hosting systems process the IP address, requested address, time, browser information and response status to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose failures. This processing is necessary for a reliable website.

Optional analytics

Only after you choose analytics do we load PostHog, which we host ourselves on a server in Germany. It can record pages, referrals, browser and device details, approximate location, interactions and web performance. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and section 25(1) TDDDG.

Session recording has its own switch. If you enable it, inputs are masked. We use the playback to find broken or confusing interactions. We do not sell analytics data or pass it to advertising networks.

Your choice

Your choice is stored on this device for up to twelve months. Refusing analytics has no disadvantage. Use “Privacy settings” in the Play Now footer to change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawal removes PostHog browser storage and stops further analytics on that device.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of personal data and object where the law provides for it. You may also complain to a data protection authority. Consent can be withdrawn at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
